Launched in 2004 as an intermediate edition between the autumn and spring issues of GMT, Stars&Snow, thus far published in a size mid-way between the classic GMTs and the summer XXL edition, is making its last appearance this winter in this particular size. That means you are holding a collector's issue! A regular fixture on the cover of GMT Stars&Snow, Jaeger-LeCoultre has made the judicious choice of presenting an exclusive preview of a new release at the SIHH 2011, the Reverso Duetto Duo, featuring an automatic movement driving two time-zone displays on two back-to-back dials. Loyal readers need not worry, since GMT will continue to be published in winter next year, but in a classic version. Each season will thus bring a quarterly A4 edition of GMT, enriched in summer by its traditional XXL model devoted to fine watchmaking, and in winter by its pocket-sized Lady special issue entirely dedicated to feminine jewellery and watchmaking. In parallel with these six Swiss issues, classic and XXL versions of the Great Magazine of Timepieces are also published in the United States, France and Italy – all offering abundant means of expressing an authentic love of watchmaking. The entire GMT team sincerely hopes you will enjoy this collector's issue (and the collector's items it presents!), and wishes you an excellent year in 2011.
