For the first time in watchmaking history, a watch displays the hours without classic hands \u2013 and also without numerals or discs. Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Jouvenot has invented a jumping heliocentric display featured in this model with its instinctive read-off mode. Each hour is presented by a radioconcentric sunbeam. At noon, all the numbers are as golden as daylight, and as the hours go by, the rays gradually turn black. Midnight is represented by twelve dark rays that shine in the darkness. The minutes are shown by a central cartouche featuring an index that makes a complete rotation on the fixed minute disc.
