To celebrate these three decades in exceptional style, the brand presents the <strong>Twin Turbo<\/strong>, a world-first Grand Complication sports model combining two triple-axis tourbillons with a minute repeater. Sounding on a pleasingly low-pitched tone, the minute repeater with cathedral-type gong strikes the hours, the decimal (10 minutes instead of the traditional 15) as well as the minutes.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-15017 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/preprod.gmtmag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/jacob-257x300.jpg\" alt=\"jacob\" width=\"275\" height=\"320\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.gmtmag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/jacob-257x300.jpg 257w, https:\/\/www.gmtmag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/jacob.jpg 539w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 275px) 100vw, 275px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A special poising system ensures that the twin tourbillons rotate in sync around their three axes \u2013 40 seconds around the first, eight minutes around the second, and three minutes around the third \u2013 thereby creating a pleasingly similar, symmetrical visual effect. The two tourbillons, together with the minute repeater, are fitted within a 63-part case featuring an automobile-inspired design.
