I was 12 years old and I will thank them for that all my life. I can still remember wandering through the coolness of the halls and discovering the blue and pink periods, cubism and lyrical abstraction.

What is your finest memory ? Like all collectors, my passion has opened up extraordinary horizons. My best memory of a discovery is undoubtedly that of Mathieu Mercier. I love his vision of contemporary art, which does not disown older arts and objects, but sets a stage for them, such as this reproduction of painting by Mondrian on recycled cardboard.

Which work is the source of greatest pride ? The three huge paintings (no jets, no sharks) by Olivier Mosset, and in fact the entire exhibition. I apply these values to each of the Graham watches we design.

What is your ultimate dream ? A vibrant and joyful place where I could install and admire all the pieces in my collection.

Since when ? I’ve been fascinated by modern art since my teenage years, but it has become a devouring passion over the past twenty years.

How did this passion come about ? My first close encounter with art occurred in 1970, when my parents dragged me with them to Avignon to spend a whole day visiting the Pablo Picasso exhibition.
