This timepiece boasting rocket-worthy resistance is distinguished by the construction of its sturdy case in titanium and aluminum, two materials used in aeronautics for their corrosion resistance and their lightness. To ensure maximum protection against any potential impacts during missions, the iconic square case of the BR-X1 is covered with a bumper in micro-blasted titanium that acts as a peripheral protective shell playing the role of a defensive shield. The gray-tinted sapphire crystal dial provides a stunning view of the mechanical selfwinding movement. The X-shaped DLC-coated upper bridge represents an unmistakable signature, since the letter ‘X’ is a nod to NASA’s experimental projects and inspired the name of the model : BR-X1. Like a planetary observation porthole, the HyperStellar features a small circular opening on the caseback providing a chance to admire the beating heart of the balance wheel.
