In the wake of Baselworld, where results exceeded all expectations, those who have dared to unite liquid and a watch movement beneath one dial are now undertaking the tricky exercise of handling the success and delivering the products to the retailers who immediately believed in the fluid mechanics concept. Powered by a purpose-built Manufacture-made movement, two hydraulic pistons activate a closed system containing two separate, immiscible liquids of different colours in each of the two reservoirs. When the first is compressed, its fluid advances in the capillary and indicates the time (10 o\u2019clock on the photo, with minutes shown in the 12 o\u2019clock counter), while the other liquid expands in the second reservoir. The separation between the two fluids is ensured by the positive and negative polarity of the molecules of each of the liquids, which exercise a mutually repulsive force at their boundary, like two magnets. Achieving this daring wager meant dreaming up, believing in, and converting others to this idea.<\/p>\n
