The two flying tourbillons of the 1770 Micromegas Revolution by Manufacture Royal appear to be performing a singular reenactment of the interstellar adventures experienced by the fictional characters of Voltaire, its illustrious founder. While one of them revolves in the traditional minute, the other takes just six seconds to do so. A torque stabilizer averaging out the two mechanisms enables them to express their full precision. Finally, the background for this fascinating paired choreography resembles the extraordinary journeys undertaken by those same characters. Like a scientific demonstration, pure mechanics are displayed and staged in spectacular fashion, flying above an empty space or a strikingly colored mainplate. The highly distinctive style of the Manufacture Royale is also reflected in this new Androgyne model, the Androgyne Royale Steel, which features an entirely skeletonized movement. The architecture of the bridges endows the model with its dynamic and powerful aesthetic, as well as its lightness. Its articulated case middle, composed of 52 parts, further accentuates its original design, ensuring a particularly comfortable fit on the wrist. An adventure-loving beauty that is bound to make a strong impression.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
Two enlightened minds with different ways of thinking, jointly striving for enhanced precision.
