In reference to New York\u2019s Guggenheim Museum, the designers created the Laureato Skeleton in which the outside and inside are engaged in a permanent dialog, harmoniously playing with lines and curves, solids and voids, light and shade. Framed by a case distinguished by an octagonal bezel nested in a circle, the movement features a particularly graceful structure enabling light to flood through it. The mainplate and bridges are openworked in the extreme, highlighting the contrasts between polished chamfered profiles and matt satin-brushed surfaces. The striking visual effect is accentuated by a dark anthracite coating which alternately offsets the clear gleam of steel or the warm glow of pink gold.
