The result infuses this 100-pieces limited edition with a sporty and contemporary personality, distinguished by a black ceramic 44mm case, octagonal bezel and bracelet. Physical sturdiness matches visual strength in the black ceramic material clothing this model right the way through to the intricacies of its openworked movement – the crossroads between technique and aesthetics. Creating a subtle contrast, the blackened baseplate reveals the rhodium-plated gear trains, along with the barrel, balance wheel and tourbillon bridge. The interlacing patterns of the mechanism highlight the tourbillon at 6 o’clock, the 30-minute chronograph, just opposite the small seconds at 9 o’clock. More than ever, legibility is key thanks to white gold applied hour-markers and hands coated with a luminescent material. To handle shorttime measurements and lend a final touch to this precision-driven scenario, the large chronograph hand sweeps over the dial with unfailing regularity. Finally, to complete this resolutely on-trend total-black vibe, Audemars Piguet teams its tourbillon chronograph openworked Royal Oak with a black ceramic bracelet secured by a titanium folding clasp. The model presented in a 100-pieces limited edition comes with two additional straps : one in black rubber and the other in two-tone black and gray rubber. The pursuit of comfort and achieving just the right look also set the tone for this model.

Royal Oak Tourbillon Chronograph Openworked CASE : black ceramic DIAMETER : 44mm MOVEMENT : hand-wound […]

[48
