With the Heure H Double Jeu watch, time engages in a game of hide-and-seek. The H-shaped case – standing for both Hermès and Horology – created in 1996 by in-house designer Philippe Mouquet – is either highlighted or partially concealed. In the version featuring “vertical setting” on either side of the dial, it fully reveals its nature as a capital letter ; while the version graced with “horizontal setting” on its entire half vanishes behind a screen of diamonds. The Heure H Double Jeu also works the concept of opposites, with a choice of white or black for the bezel-dial-strap ensemble of each watch. That makes four interpretations of this new ‘player’, not to mention the strap-change game available on all Heure H watches. The wearer can thus decide whether to adopt a standard-width model, or the new flared option that is 3mm broader at the lugs and thus visually extends the watch, while featuring an H-shaped loop that accentuates its identity.

[80,1674
