It may be seen as representing the countless galaxies of the Milky Way, a marine whirlpool, or the shape of certain marine fauna and flora, but above all as an evocation of the rotating movement of the tourbillon carriage highlighted at 6 o\u2019clock. The spiral pattern provides glimpses of a movement that is highly technical, as always at Richard Mille, and naturally equipped with a dynamometric crown, a safety device serving to avoid excessive winding. The caliber is beautifully enhanced by a baseplate in black onyx, a variety of chalcedony symbolizing balance and inspiration.
