Developed on the basis of hand-wound Caliber 39, it now not only incorporates a chronograph but also flyback, dual-time and date functions as well as automatic winding, and of course a patented Spherodrive device improving energy transmission and ensuring greater longevity. For its launch, Caliber 3928A drives a watch from the famous KonTiki collection, named after the raft built from balsa wood logs by Thor Heyerdahl for his Pacific crossing expedition in 1947. The ocean is evoked by a blue dial adorned with a central wave motif.
