Guy Sémon

Guy Sémon is returning to his passion for micromechanics and watchmaking by taking the reins of the Research Institute for the Watch Division of the LVMH Watch Group. In addition to working for TAG Heuer since 2004 where he developed some extremely innovative watch models, he has also recently devoted his talents to Hublot and Zenith, notably for the latter’s Defy Lab.

Niels Eggerding was promoted to the post of Managing Director for Frédérique Constant and Alpina, after five years spent developing sales, including the three last years as Vice President Sales. He had previously held various sales-related positions for Swatch Group brands over a ten-year period.

Marco Tedeschi

Marco Tedeschi started the year with a bang by becoming CEO of the RJ-Romain Jerome brand which he represented during the SIHH. He will draw upon a decade-long career at Hublot where he was first Product Director and then Regional Director Middle East & Africa. He has expressed a determination to refocus RJ on its fundamental pillars such as its Titanic and Moon collections.

 

 

 

 

Philippe Cros (Richemont, Technomarine, Watch Concept Hong Kong), Jorg Hysek Jr (Slyde, MCT, De Bethune) and Lionel Ladoire (Ladoire) are launching their L&Jr brand, featuring powerful designs and attractive prices, while pursuing their respective main activities.

Nathalie Marielloni has been appointed Assistant Curator of the Musée International d’Horlogerie in La Chaux-de-Fonds, having taken over in February 2018 from Jean-Michel Piguet who had spent 40 years serving the institution. Her broad and diverse specialized training is backed by an already rich experience acquired with various museums and companies in Geneva, London and Le Locle.

Christophe Golay

Christophe Golay is diversifying the activities of Golay Spierer (the creation of one-of-a-kind bespoke models) by launching the Golay Atelier offering watches priced bwteen CHF 1,000 and CHF 5,000, based on a configurator offering 58 million variations.

Brice Lechevalier is editor-in-chief of GMT and Skippers, which he co-founded in 2000 and 2001 respectively. He has also been CEO of WorldTempus since it joined the GMT Publishing stable, of which he is director and joint shareholder. In 2012 he created the Geneva Watch Tour, and he has been an advisor to the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève since 2011. Also closely involved in sailing, he has published the magazine of the Société Nautique de Genève since 2003, and was one of the founders of the SUI Sailing Awards in 2009 and the Concours d’Elégance for motor boats at the Cannes Yachting Festival in 2015.
