Blancpain Endurance Series in Monza

The very first round of the Blancpain Endurance Series was won in mid-April in Monza by Paolo Ruberti at the wheel of his Porsche on his home track, while Marc Hayek finished 4th overall with his Lamborghini GT3 and first in class with his co-driver Peter Kox.

 

Panerai Classic Yacht Challenge

The classic sailing circuit sponsored by Panerai brought together 68 historical boats for the first event in its seasonal calendar held in Antigua and won by the 1957 wooden ketch Lone Fox. Les Voiles d’Antibes set the ball rolling in the Mediterranean in early June, to be followed by four other regattas this summer.

 

Graham revs up at the Isle of Man TT

For the past century, the Isle of Man Tourist Trophy has attracted the most intrepid motorcyclists to compete at speeds of up to 300 km/h on country roads comprising 264 bends dotted along a 60km stretch. Graham, which serves as official timekeeper, released a 3D film this April on the subject entitled “TT3D, closer to the edge”.


Brice Lechevalier is editor-in-chief of GMT and Skippers, which he co-founded in 2000 and 2001 respectively. He has also been CEO of WorldTempus since it joined the GMT Publishing stable, of which he is director and joint shareholder. In 2012 he created the Geneva Watch Tour, and he has been an advisor to the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève since 2011. Also closely involved in sailing, he has published the magazine of the Société Nautique de Genève since 2003, and was one of the founders of the SUI Sailing Awards in 2009 and the Concours d’Elégance for motor boats at the Cannes Yachting Festival in 2015.
