Tradition rewarded at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este

A Lange3Doubtless the concours d’élégance with the most aristocratic roots since 1929, this major rendezvous for automobile enthusiasts on the shores of Lake Como can lay claim to have A. Lange & Söhne on its roster of main partners since 2012. Held at the end of May each year, it brings together concept cars as well as traditional vehicles. The owner of the most elegant among them is rewarded with a one-of-a-kind watch. This year, the proud owner of a splendid 1954 Maserati A6 GCS that won the competition in the “Best of Show” category received a Lange 1 Zeitzone with a “Como Edition” engraving. In handing over the prize, A. Lange & Söhne’s CEO Wilhelm Schmid said : “I’m certain that every second spent on restoring a classic car is time well invested.” The wheels of culture and passion sometimes feature very different diameters !
