A resolutely Haute Couture spirit pervades the VELVET BY MASSARO trilogy of self-winding watches paying tribute to three Hollywood divas from the 1950s. In honor of Lana Turner, ROGER DUBUIS and the prestigious Parisian shoe designer have created an exquisitely luminous model. The silver-toned strap is graced with a central row of pearls evoking those the actress used to wear around her neck.
To create the UR-106 “LOTUS” in titanium, steel and diamonds, its first feminine creation, URWERK has revisited its iconic display mechanism. The three satellites, each of them bearing four hours numerals, form a flower whose petals follow each other around the minutes track. A moon phase adds an additional touch of charm to this complex watch.
A model that is astonishing at first sight, the FABERGÉ LADY LEVITY inspired by a 1910 desk clock is even more so in terms of its time display. A moon crescent and a sun revolve over a mother-of-pearl ring, around a moon-phase display crafted using a technique never previously used in the watch industry : platinum printing on sapphire crystal and a mother-of-pearl film on the surface.
In the watchmaking garden of CHRISTOPHE CLARET, the MARGUERITE, appearing here in a “champagne-set” pink gold version, invites two butterflies to indicate the hours and minutes. Pressing the pusher at 2 o’clock reveals the inscription “Il m’aime passionément” (He loves me passionately) or another selected personalized message ; while on the front, the oscillating weight plays the classic “He love me/he loves me not” game.
