the one hand, the spirit of Codex is vividly embodied in the Identity Chrono Day Date, a 44mm steel chronograph featuring sporting and elegant lines. Equipped with a self-winding movement indicating the day and date, this new release features the brand’s signature interwoven X motif. Meanwhile, the feminine counterpart of this new model, the Identity Lady Moonphase, is the brand’s very first ladies’ watch. The strong iconic design details of the men’s watch are all there, but have simply been diverted from their original form. The steel case is slimmer and lighter to fit daintier wrists, while the bezel is set with diamonds. The delicately graded X pattern creates subtle transparency and depth effects against a lacquered white background. A pattern harmoniously punctuated by indications of the hours, minutes, seconds and date, along with the most poetic of all complications: a moon-phase display.
