Jaeger-LeCoultre once again demonstrates that an iconic and classic model such as its Art Deco inspired Reverso can be perfectly well suited to adopting highly contemporary look. While the steel case, available in Large and Medium versions, reveals nothing unexpected, it nonetheless frames a choice of six new dials : one in carbon-textured gray, another in meteorite, and an even trendier third one in camouflage-style green marble. The three other dials focus on intense colors with red, electric blue and tiger’s eye amber shades. They are presented by the Atelier Reverso, which since last year has been offering Reverso owners the chance to personalize their watch according to their tastes and style, by choosing the back dial and the easily interchangeable strap from a broad range of colors and materials. The front of the new Reverso Classic Duo Small Second displays the hours, minutes and small seconds on a silver-toned, guilloché, vertical-brushed dial, while the back is dedicated to a dual-time display, complemented by a day/night indicator in the form of a highly legible small round counter at 6 o’clock. This model is powered by the manual-winding Jaeger-LeCoultre Caliber 854A.
