1,932-PIECE LIMITED SERIES

To mark the 85th birthday of Jack Heuer, the most close-up and personal ambassador TAG Heuer has ever had, the brand is issuing a limited series of its Autavia. It is based on the model chosen by the public in the Autavia Cup, an online design competition to choose the version of this cult chronograph that the brand has re-released. It is equipped with the same mechanism – Heuer Caliber 02 – featuring a column-wheel chronograph and an 80-hour power reserve. Not to mention the same case, in 42mm steel. But the Autavia “Jack Heuer special edition” differs in terms of its color, which adopts a trendy Panda-type black on gray color scheme. The bezel is also fitted with a new insert and is now graduated in fiveminute intervals, separated by dots. The hours appear on a small parallel scale, while the caseback is now solid and bears Jack Heuer’s coat-of-arms. The steel “ricegrain” bracelet lends a distinctly retro touch. Its seven-link top rows, with five smaller links along the center, were already an option for the series-made Autavia. It is now an inseparable feature of the 1,932 that will be made.
