Cvstos : Cvstos freewheels with Dani Pedrosa

Already a two-time MotoGP world champion, Spanish moto rider Dani Pedrosa was the 2012 world vice-champion (with 16 podium finishes out of 18 Grand Prix races !) and is considered a favourite this year to win the discipline’s ultimate title. This elite sportsman happens to be a member of the same sports club as Cvstos CEO Sassoun Sirmakes. The two enthusiasts thus decided to share an adventure and were joined by the brand’s co-founder and Chief Designer, Antonio Terranova.  26 being the rider’s lucky number, two limited series of 26 self-winding chronographs are strongly inspired by his Repsol Honda. The oscillating weight and case of the Challenge Pedrosa Chronograph have been personalised by the rider, while various style features of his bike are picked up on the watch, such as the team colours, the brakes and the clutch lever of which the grip covers the crown, etc. A further step in the direction of customised micro-series, a field regularly explored by Cvstos between two technical developments.
