Eterna : Gstaad Attitude

Nicknamed the Wimbledon of the Alps, each summer the Gstaad Tennis Open hosts players from all over the world on its clay courts, in an arena distinguished by the beauty of the surrounding peaks. Eterna has decided to partner the event by becoming the silver sponsor. CEO Antonio Calce spoke about this decision : “I accepted the job as CEO of Eterna and the challenge of repositioning the brand amongst the jewels in the crown of Swiss watchmaking because I am attached to the incredible history of this company, its production facilities, the trades and human resources that are part of its activity. I firmly believe in the development potential of Eterna and I am determined to re-position the strategic fundamentals of the brand so as to make the name shine. Today I wanted to associate the image of Eterna, a Swiss manufacturer renowned for its excellence and skill for more than 150 years, with a flagship event in Swiss sport, in order to strengthen the visibility of the brand in its domestic market.” The finalists certainly did not complain – winner Mikhail Youzhny went home with a Madison Eight Days and his runner-up Robin Haase with a Vaughan Big Date.
