Pierre DeRoche : The couple behind the brand

After ten years of existence, the brand is the fruit of not only four generations of watchmakers but also of a couple for whom reason has in no way diminished their passion : Carole and Pierre Dubois. Flashback to 1901 : Marcel Dépraz created his watchmaking workshop. His brother-in-law Reynold Dubois took over in 1937, and subsequently, Gérard Dubois launched the company’s first automatic chronograph in 1956. Half a century later, his grandson and his wife continued the Dubois-Dépraz family tradition and are broadcasting the fact – notably by appearing in one of the advertising campaigns. Carole and Pierre have infused their timepieces with the intimate companionship and chemistry that has united them since the age of 20, and which has resulted in three children and four watch collections interpreted through some 50 models – naturally for both men and women. Pierre, founder and CEO, travels the markets when not busy creating a world première like his TNT Royal Rétro with six retrograde seconds hands. Carole challenges him on aesthetic choices and the design of the models, while also managing brand communication. Enjoying a selective presence on the three main continents, Pierre DeRoche continues to focus on standing out from the crowd and on offering small, in-house crafted series.
