Stars : Zenith, Hublot

Zenith & Blériot

On September 6th 2014, at the AIR14 air show in Payerne, Zenith the brand with the guiding star and Mikael Carlson’s Blériot XI revived a legend : that of Louis Blériot and the feats he performed with a Zenith watch on his wrist. These included his famous Channel crossing aboard a Blériot XI. It was also aboard planes of this type that the first flight across the Alps was achieved, one of the first parachutist drops was made and the first loop-the-loop that was to give rise to aerobatics was performed.

Hublot and the cowboys

Already the first luxury brand to associate with football in 2007, Hublot is now the first to open up to American football by becoming a partner of the Dallas Cowboys team. The partnership was announced in Dallas by Hublot CEO Ricardo Guadalupe, and Jerry Jones, owner and CEO of the Dallas Cowboys, on August 26th. During the evening, the watchmaker unveiled three limited-edition watches, including one for women, which pick up the team’s blue and silver colors as well as its emblematic star. The latter is placed at 5 o’clock as a nod to the club’s five Super Bowl victories.
