A watch with a strong personality rarely appeals in equal measure to enthusiasts of design and understated aesthetics as well as to professionals such as pilots, drivers and minesweepers. Such is the case of Bell&Ross models, of which the first generation (Heritage) was round and pure, but already extremely readable. Then came the famous square shapes dear to aviators, and subsequently tonneau or barrel shapes cherished by the navy. The Vintage collection was created in tribute to 1940s pilots, who were the first professionals to consider their watch as an indispensable instrument in accomplishing their missions. The brand is launching two versions of the Vintage Original Carbon from the Baselworld “aircraft carrier”: both these self-winding and chronograph variations feature an ultra-convex sapphire crystal. The square becomes round again, thus coming full circle!
