Its design could easily have gone out of fashion over the past 15 years and yet the very opposite has occurred. The aptly named Instrumento N° UNO, the very first watch designed by Fawaz Gruosi in 2000 and which earned him a place within the select circle of haute horlogerie companies, continues to display the time with the same degree of panache. Better still, without betraying its origins, its unique aesthetic has been successfully reinvented while never losing touch with its inherent modernity. In its Annual Calendar version unveiled to mark the 15th anniversary of the collection, the Instrumento N° UNO opts for an asymmetrical look. The dial structure has been redesigned to provide more space and give pride of place to the month counter and the small seconds. The generous day display at 12 o’clock also ensures optimal readability. This elegantly refined new edition is teamed with a strap that is more smoothly integrated into the case than ever, thus ensuring an even more distinguished allure.
