The Panerai Submersible Marina Militare Carbotech is available in two versions : one completely black and the other fitted with a green strap, teaned with colorful matching dial accents. But the biggest difference lies elsewhere. Panerai offers the 33 owners of the PAM00961 green limited edition an exclusive experience perfectly in line with the military spirit of this professional diving watch and Panerai’s history : a day of training with the Comsubin, the Italian Navy’s special intervention unit. Those who will not have been fortunate or daring enough to share the survival events of the Italian commandos will nevertheless find in the black version all the characteristics of this diver’s watch awarded a gold medal by the Comsubin. The carbotech case provides unique camouflage gear for each timepiece, complemented by a carbon dial. The unidirectional rotating bezel serves to calculate dive time, Super-LumiNova® ensures essential readability, water resistance is guaranteed to 300 meters and the robust rubber strap can easily cope with seawater, just as the movement equipped with the Incabloc® system can handle shocks. Topped with the inscription “Survival Instruments”, the diver engraved on the caseback leaves no doubt as to the nature of this watch.
