A founding member of the Guns N’ Roses band who became lead singer for AC/ DC, the resolutely non-conformist rocker Axl Rose was won over by the HYT Skull watches and agreed to cooperate with the brand by designing a model named after him and issued in a limited series. For the Skull Axl Rose, he wanted a veined Damascus steel-type effect, coated with a radiant blue picked up on the hour-markers of the chapter ring through which the black fluid flows, in the topstitching of the cuff strap, as well as on the plates on either side of the blackened titanium case. A Clou de Paris stud motif adorns the dial which, in addition to the hours and minutes, displays the small seconds in the left eye and the power reserve in the right eye. On the caseback, Axl Rose’s signature appears on the metallized sapphire crystal, just below the Guns N’ Roses logo.
