Almost 40 years after its launch, the Polo collection welcomes a new generation of models : the Polo S (for steel), introduced for the first time ever in steel. At its presentation this summer, five automatic references including a chronograph stirred considerable interest among brand enthusiasts who are offered a choice of three dial colors : blue, silvery gray and slate gray. Piaget has drawn on the expertise of its Manufacture in developing two new movements powering the Polo S, featuring colorful oscillating weights that may be admired through the sapphire caseback. Another notable evolution of the Polo collection is the fact that its generous and distinctive case features a new geometrical blend by framing a cushion-shaped dial with an atypical bezel topping a round case. For actor Ryan Reynolds who has been chosen to personify the values of the Polo S, it represents relaxed luxury that can be easily worn anywhere. This is confirmed by the author Joël Dicker, a recently appointed Piaget ambassador, who told our colleagues at WorldTempus last spring that he liked watches that are both classic and sporty.
