Frederique Constant, historically linked to classic racing and notably to the famous English carmaker, is serving this year as official timekeeper for the Peking to Paris motor challenge. To celebrate this partnership, the Genevabased Manufacture has unveiled the Vintage Rally Peking to Paris watch, a timepiece inspired by this transcontinental race covering over 13,000 kilometers. Like the historical cars involved in this adventure, this model features a vintage look and is equipped with the main functions required to steer daily life with pleasing precision. On the hidden side of the model, Frederique Constant has engraved the road map and logo of the rally, with the route taken by competitors depicted by a red line. Issued in a numbered edition of 2,888, the model comes in an elegant presentation box along with a plaque retracing the route of the 2016 Peking to Paris motor challenge.
