The Patrimony Traditionnelle 14-Day Tourbillon is the latest addition to the Excellence Platine collection, a prestigious line created in 2006 for collectors. Vacheron Constantin selects some of the most watch creations most representative of its expertise and issues them in particularly luxurious limited editions : platinum features in the case, on the dial with its sandblasted finish, the clasp and even in the composition of the platinum and silk threads for the saddle stitching on the strap. The newcomer highlights a superb tourbillon featuring a carriage inspired by the Maltese cross and a large power-reserve displayed in a 280° segment. It occupies a larger area than usual and the 14 days of autonomy are divided into remarkably legible 12-hour slices. Performance is ensured by Calibre 2260 equipped with four barrels stacked in pairs and two oversized bridges featuring an array of Fine Watchmaking finishes notably including Côtes de Genève. Stamped with the new Poinçon de Genève which takes account of the overall qualities of the watch, this Patrimony Traditionnelle is issued in a 50-piece limited edition.
