Since 1989, Harry Winston’s timepieces combine the high quality craftsmanship of Harry Winston jewels with the time honored tradition of Swiss watchmaking. Winston’s foray into fine timepieces introduced a new creative dimension for the revered House to explore. From the iconic Avenue and Premier collections, to the innovation of Project Z and elegance of Harry Winston Midnight, to the breathtaking brilliance of High Jewelry Timepieces – Harry Winston watches have consistently made their own contribution to the horological heritage.
The Harry Winston Manufacture in Geneva is the object of constant efforts in terms of investments, development and production capacity. The progressive integration of the various watchmaking professions, including the goal of making its own dials in-house, is one of the keynotes of the Harry Winston philosophy. Its commitment to quality and to fine craftsmanship, in keeping with the finest traditions of Haute Horlogerie, remain the unmistakable signature of a rare degree of legitimacy in the field of jewelry-making and watchmaking creativity and ingenuity. A legitimacy that is well ahead of its time and directed towards a promising future without limitations or compromises.
Crafted from Zalium, an aerospace-type zirconium exclusive to Harry Winston in watchmaking, the Project Z6 Black Edition and Ocean Triple Retrograde Chronograph Black Zalium timepieces impose their strong sporting personality. Their excellence is a tribute to the visionary talent of the House’s designers and watchmakers. Pushing the limits of technology, the cases feature a DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) coating that further increases their strength. Also called amorphous carbon, DLC is a mixture containing graphite and diamond, plus a variable amount of hydrogen. This specially designed mixture results in a hard black coating, which, apart from being decorative, is non-deformable, wear-resistant and has a low coefficient of friction.
Echoing the high-tech case, the desire for innovation and differentiation can be seen on the dials of both models, engineered in a setting where time is at its best only when it is off-centered or retrograde. The signature rotating shuriken, a symbol borrowed from Japanese martial arts, marks off the small seconds. And as technology can suffer no compromise, the two timepieces beat to the rhythm of movements featuring complications of the first order.

Powered by a mechanical hand-wound movement exclusively developed for Harry Winston, Histoire de Tourbillon 2  showcases the supreme complication in a setting worthy of its stature. The intricate structure of the amazing bi-axial flying tourbillon immediately catches the eye. Embodying a daunting conceptual challenge characterized by the absence of an upper bridge, the tourbillon is held on the side of the movement only, so that its point of fixation remains invisible.
Suspended in mid-air, it radiates the hypnotic magic of a perfectly controlled balancing game: as if released from the mechanism driving it, it appears to be floating in complete freedom. Hovering over the watch protected by its sapphire crystal dome, this watchmaking feat plays its role within a spacious and spectacular stage-setting. Designers have worked with perspective, height and sloping angles in creating the stunning tourbillon carriage with its fascinating sense of depth.
If elegance had a shape, it would no doubt be round… as round and regular as the course of time, which, despite its complexity, takes pleasure in constant repetition. As round and fascinating as the Harry Winston Midnight Collection, which offers time a universe of
refined and subtle expression. Each watch is a new interpretation that distills the essence of time, both in substance and form. The
cases seamlessly incorporate the brand’s iconic arches, achieving visual equilibrium. The Harry Winston Midnight Collection embodies the quintessence of elegance and refinement.
Harry Winston Midnight Big Date adds its vision of time to the collection. Offering the leading role to a large date that takes an uncompromising stand at 6 o’clock, it depicts the time indications in a unique style, true to the spirit of the brand and to watchmaking tradition. This intrinsically elegant timepiece would undoubtedly have appealed to Mr. Winston himself.
Behind the scenes, the self-winding mechanical movement works with the required precision, its fine detailing visible via the transparent case-back. On center stage, the dial, available in black or silver, is definitely masculine. It features a traditionally crafted circular guilloché pattern, which moves outward like an off-centered ripple, emphasizing the sleek and contemporary elegance of the watch. The 42mm case crafted in rose or white gold chooses understated elegance to better highlight the sophistication of the time indications.
From the satin-brushed dial to the case finely crafted from rose or white gold, the Harry Winston Midnight Automatic watch is designed for men for whom elegance is a daily way of life. Featuring a self-winding mechanical movement visible through the transparent case-back, the timepiece reinterprets the traditional codes of Haute Horlogerie with a frank and contemporary spirit. Witness the 42mm case that perfectly embodies the modern 21st century style.
The Harry Winston Midnight lady watch lives in an aesthetic universe steeped in authenticity and purity. Available in two sizes, it is designed for women who want a watch to accompany them every day, whose style intuitively embodies a brand synonymous with elegance and refinement. Incredibly feminine. The grace that emanates from the Midnight Lady models is fascinating. The design reduced to its purest expression proves that beauty also knows how to shine in its simplest form, featuring top quality Harry Winston diamonds that add their crystalline sparkle, discreetly echoing the House’s jewelry expertise.
Dressed in rose or white gold, gem-set or unadorned, the case features slender lugs. The slim shape of the 32 or 39mm case sits delicately on the wrist and fits like a second skin.
