June 2012 : Stanislas de Quercize, Gérald Palacios, Denis Giguet, Christof Zuber, etc

Stanislas de Quercize is taking a giant step in a successful career. CEO of Van Cleef & Arpels until the end of 2012, he will occupy the same position at Cartier, flagship brand of the Richemont group in which he has held several positions since 1989, notably for Alfred Dunhill, Cartier and Mont Blanc.

Gérald Palacios has been selected by Jorg Hysek to head up the management of Slyde Watch SA and its famous digital complication watches created by the designers of HD3. Let’s hope that he will become an excellent client of LVMH champagnes which he previously directed in Switzerland.

Denis Giguet is moving to take up a post as head of the Van Cleef & Arpels’s Watch Workshops in Geneva. He has distinguished himself as a watchmaker by creating Harry Winston’s Opus 11, and as an entrepreneur by creating the Manufacture Contemporaine du Temps in 2007.

Christof Zuber was appointed CEO of the Moser Group in February 2012,and of its flagship brand, H. Moser & Cie, replacing Dr Jürgen Lange who currently occupies a seat on the Board.

Nicolas Abboud has been leading the management team at de Grisogono since its change of shareholders in April 2012. The former CEO of Christofle, who handled the redeployment of the Parisian luxury silversmith, is now working under Fawaz Gruosi, de Grisogono’s charismatic founder, who is still at the helm.

François-Henry Bennahmias was appointed at the end of May to the position of General Manager ad interim by the Board of Directors of the Le Brassus-based company, which has parted ways with Philippe Merk. Since 1999, the charismatic friend of countless celebrities has been developing the American market in a dynamic and non-conformist manner.

Brice Lechevalier is editor-in-chief of GMT and Skippers, which he co-founded in 2000 and 2001 respectively. He has also been CEO of WorldTempus since it joined the GMT Publishing stable, of which he is director and joint shareholder. In 2012 he created the Geneva Watch Tour, and he has been an advisor to the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève since 2011. Also closely involved in sailing, he has published the magazine of the Société Nautique de Genève since 2003, and was one of the founders of the SUI Sailing Awards in 2009 and the Concours d’Elégance for motor boats at the Cannes Yachting Festival in 2015.
