Business News: Summer 2016

1 RAYNALD AESCHLIMANN is the new President & CEO of OMEGA. He will be making a smooth transition in May after 20 years of loyal service characterized by a dynamic approach and successful results, notably as Vice President Sales since 2001 and Member of the Swatch Group Extended Board of Management since 2013.

2VINCENT PERRIARD will be focusing his energy on his key strengths : marketing along with the sales and product strategy for both HYT and PRECIFLEX, becoming a member of the board of both companies. His career includes stints with Audemars Piguet, Hamilton, TechnoMarine and Concord, as well as running his own brand consultancy company.

3GREGORY DOURDE moves from Preciflex to HYT, in the wake of the 23 million-franc round of capital raising by the dual entity, in order to accelerate its development while controlling its production flows, notably with a view to a new movement to be unveiled in 2018. The new CEO had previously worked for eight years in the Richemont and Swatch groups.

4CARLOS-A. ROSILLO, CEO and co-founder of Bell & Ross, became President of BELL & ROSS, INC. NORTH AMERICA in April, as part of the worldwide reorganization of its distribution
network. The North American subsidiary is also welcoming a new Vice-President Sales, Kirk Aronson, who had been a Senior Director for TAG Heuer.

5PHILIPPE PEVERELLI is one of the rare watch industry figures who is unanimously respected for both his personal and professional qualities, the combination of which has contributed to the spectacular revival beyond China that Tudor has enjoyed over the past seven years. The ROLEX group has now entrusted him with the responsibility of its Roledeco subsidiary.

Brice Lechevalier is editor-in-chief of GMT and Skippers, which he co-founded in 2000 and 2001 respectively. He has also been CEO of WorldTempus since it joined the GMT Publishing stable, of which he is director and joint shareholder. In 2012 he created the Geneva Watch Tour, and he has been an advisor to the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève since 2011. Also closely involved in sailing, he has published the magazine of the Société Nautique de Genève since 2003, and was one of the founders of the SUI Sailing Awards in 2009 and the Concours d’Elégance for motor boats at the Cannes Yachting Festival in 2015.
