ÉRIC BERTRANDÉRIC BERTRAND has been appointed President of the BASELWORLD EXHIBITORS’ COMMITTEE, of which he has been a member for the past 15 years, as part of his longstanding experience in the fields of watchmaking and jewelry.

7DENIS GIGUET returns to the virtues of “small is beautiful” by taking the reins of the watchmaking division of CAGE HOLDING (MCT, MCH and Digitale), where since May of this year he forms a dream team with the CEO of MCT, Pierre Jacques. The founder of MCT, Denis Giguet forged his career at Rolex, Harry Winston and Van Cleef & Arpels.

8JULIEN HAENNY has been placed at the helm of ANONIMO, where he had been serving as Marketing and Communication Director. He has six months to convincingly demonstrate the relevance of his strategic choices and to adapt the corporate structure, before being confirmed in this role as CEO.

9ERIC VISCONT switched to the other side of the exhibition booth in January, by associating with Bart Leppens, founder of STAND BY ME. He will be applying the experience acquired as Marketing Director at Audemars PIguet and Raymond Weil to developing this company specializing in setting up displays, exhibitions and events.

10PIM KOESLAG has been appointed CEO of ATELIER DE MONACO this spring, within the Frédérique Constant group, for which he has been working since he graduated from Watchmaking School 12 years ago, including the past five years serving as Technical Director and master-watchmaker.

Brice Lechevalier is editor-in-chief of GMT and Skippers, which he co-founded in 2000 and 2001 respectively. He has also been CEO of WorldTempus since it joined the GMT Publishing stable, of which he is director and joint shareholder. In 2012 he created the Geneva Watch Tour, and he has been an advisor to the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève since 2011. Also closely involved in sailing, he has published the magazine of the Société Nautique de Genève since 2003, and was one of the founders of the SUI Sailing Awards in 2009 and the Concours d’Elégance for motor boats at the Cannes Yachting Festival in 2015.
