September 2014 : Laurent Lecamp, Dominique Renaud, Christina Fürst, Ruben Mira

Laurent Lecamp in Lucerne? And all over the world just like in days gone by, but this time as Executive Vice President Sales for Carl F. Bucherer since this summer. Prior to developing the Cyrus brand, he took his first steps in watchmaking at Michel Jordi’s side, as did a certain Sascha Moeri currently at the helm of Carl F. Bucherer.

Dominique Renaud is putting a foot in the door at HYT whose new offices in Neuchâtel offer a breathtaking view over the lake from their terrace. The master watchmaker specialising in concepts and co-founder of Renaud&Papi has taken the Fine Watchmaking helm at HYT, without relinquishing the creation of his own watch brand bearing his name.

Christina Fürst has taken on the role of Head of Corporate Marketing that Gübelin has tailored to her appointment, after 15 years of working for the luxury industry all over the world, and notably in Europe and the United States. Her international experience in marketing, along with her experience in strategy and communication, should be invaluable to this other Lucerne-based group.

Ruben Mira has taken up the position of operational director for Cyrus, henceforth based in Le Locle. His career began at DLC trading SA prior to spending time at Merrill Lynch and obtaining experience working for Gucci watches and jewelry,  while enjoying the benefit of strong connections in the watch industry overall.

Brice Lechevalier is editor-in-chief of GMT and Skippers, which he co-founded in 2000 and 2001 respectively. He has also been CEO of WorldTempus since it joined the GMT Publishing stable, of which he is director and joint shareholder. In 2012 he created the Geneva Watch Tour, and he has been an advisor to the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève since 2011. Also closely involved in sailing, he has published the magazine of the Société Nautique de Genève since 2003, and was one of the founders of the SUI Sailing Awards in 2009 and the Concours d’Elégance for motor boats at the Cannes Yachting Festival in 2015.
