Graff : Michel Pitteloud

Why are timepieces from Graff Luxury Watches so appealing to men ?
Several factors determine this choice. Personally, I believe it’s the strength of the Graff brand and the distinctive nature of our models. Our highly unique faceted cases evoke the shape of a diamond and appeals to men looking for resolutely difference timepieces. Our collection of gem-set watches showcase our skills in diamond craftsmanship and design, while our technical timepieces demonstrate our dedication to continuous horological advancement.
Some of our male clients discover our watches when accompanying their wives to one of our boutiques, because Graff has been a must-see for over half a century when it comes to purchasing haute joaillerie creations for women. I truly believe that having a Graff timepiece within a watch collection signifies taking things to the next level. The fact that we are exhibiting at BaselWorld for the first time continues to strengthen our credibility among fine watchmaking names.

What new models can men expect from Graff Luxury Watches in 2014?
We are continuing to pursue the ultra-thin path we have taken since creating the MasterGraff Ultra Flat Tourbillon – incorporating the thinnest flying tourbillon in the world, which measures just 3.5mm housed within a 6.95mm case. In 2014, this exceptional foundation is enriched with both Grand Date and Dual Time functions, which will once again make this highly unique timepiece the thinnest tourbillon in its category. In parallel, we are launching a sportier titanium version accompanied by gold lugs. At Graff even our aesthetics are patented; from our Invisible Mosaic Diamond setting which took over a year to develop and required Graff’s finest expertise in diamond design and setting, to the triangular emerald symbol positioned as a 12 o’clock marker, which will be progressively replaced by a diamond in the shape of our Graff Icon, a motif now synonymous with the Graff brand globally.
Our tourbillon watches also come in diamond set versions, once again making them the world’s thinnest fully set complicated watches with diamonds. Finally, limited editions such as the Tourbillon GyroGraff with power-reserve and three dimensional moon-phase indicator provide our clients with alternatives within our masculine range.

Will women be so lucky ?
Yes, absolutely ! Our new releases for women are even more varied and numerous. The incredible success of our Butterfly Watch has led us to develop a new evolution, including a version which features the dial set with pink sapphire or rainbow coloured stones, accompanied by a fully-set jewelled bracelet.
Our latest floral-inspired timepiece takes the form of the FloralGraff, an exquisitely feminine ladies watch. A beautifully simple, mosaic inspired design traces the outline of each blossoming petal, represented by a delicate trail of pavé diamonds paired with a striking arrangement of 8-perfectly shaped and polished cabochon sapphires, emeralds or rubies. We continue to develop our collection of secret watches with designs featuring beautiful cabochons and carved emeralds – each one a striking example of the finest Swiss watchmaking combined with Graff’s diamond expertise.
