Gautier Massonneau

Gautier Massonneau made the most his dual training as an engineer and businessman to leave the world of finance in the Middle East last winter and launch his own Tribole watch brand (see p. 75), having convinced Jean-François Mojon to join him in this adventure.

 

Céline Assimon

Céline Assimon is the new CEO of de Grisogono since December 2108. She brings with her solid experience in the realm of international luxury, starting with Piaget in the USA in 2001, then moving on to diamond dealer Leviev in 2005, before handling watches and jewelry at Louis Vuitton in New York in 2011 and subsequently Haute Horlogerie and Haute Joaillerie at the brand’s Paris headquarters in 2015.

 

Sophie Dubuis

Sophie Dubuis is pursuing her mission of defending Geneva’s values by agreeing to serve as President of the Geneva Tourism & Conventions Foundation since January. She began her career at Palexpo and then headed Geneva’s International Conference Centre before being appointed head of Bucherer Genève, and since 2108 has also been the President of the Geneva Trade Federation. Good news for the Geneva Watch Tour !

 

Julien Haenny

Julien Haenny has just snapped up the best watch industry job of all. As General Manager of the Fine Watch Club, he will work with the most prestigious luxury watch brands (see his interview on p. 48). After gaining international experience in marketing and sales with the MGI Luxury Group, Jaeger-LeCoultre and Technomarine, he served as CEO of Anonimo until 2018.

 

Brice Lechevalier is editor-in-chief of GMT and Skippers, which he co-founded in 2000 and 2001 respectively. He has also been CEO of WorldTempus since it joined the GMT Publishing stable, of which he is director and joint shareholder. In 2012 he created the Geneva Watch Tour, and he has been an advisor to the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève since 2011. Also closely involved in sailing, he has published the magazine of the Société Nautique de Genève since 2003, and was one of the founders of the SUI Sailing Awards in 2009 and the Concours d’Elégance for motor boats at the Cannes Yachting Festival in 2015.
