Watch-themed Christmas Log at the  Richemond

Sébastien Quazzola, Pastry Chef at the Richemond Genève (Dorchester Collection) has chosen the watchmaking theme to decorate the traditional Dulcey chocolate ‘Christmas log’ cake served to guests. The five-star hotel has joined the other partners of the Geneva Watch Tour who place GMT in their rooms.

 

Les Ambassadeurs in Lucerne

They were the only big name missing from Lucerne! Les Ambassadeurs have filled this gap by offering tourists and locals of the picture-postcard city a three-floor boutique featuring luxury watches and jewelry. Behind the Art Deco style façade, the generous spaces decked out in oak and natural stones are home to a watchmaking workshop, the Espace Connaisseur and VIP lounges, as well as sales areas with a view over Chapel Square and the lake.

 

Montres Prestige gets a facelift

Less brands and more space as well as enhanced comfort. Entirely renovated in light tones, the Montres Prestige boutique in the Kempinski Genève hotel gives pride of place to Audemars Piguet and Richard Mille, and has opted to focus on on five other independent brands: Girard-Perregaux, HYT, Jacob & Co, Laurent Ferrier, and MB&F.


Brice Lechevalier is editor-in-chief of GMT and Skippers, which he co-founded in 2000 and 2001 respectively. He has also been CEO of WorldTempus since it joined the GMT Publishing stable, of which he is director and joint shareholder. In 2012 he created the Geneva Watch Tour, and he has been an advisor to the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève since 2011. Also closely involved in sailing, he has published the magazine of the Société Nautique de Genève since 2003, and was one of the founders of the SUI Sailing Awards in 2009 and the Concours d’Elégance for motor boats at the Cannes Yachting Festival in 2015.
