Manufacture Frédérique Constant

The independent family brand created by Aletta and Peter Stas presented its first collection at Baselworld in 1995 and celebrated the tenth anniversary of its Manufacture at the Bâtiment des Forces Motrices in Geneva in May 2014. Since the opening of this production facility, it has produced 15 calibers in-house and plans to double its production surface area.

 

Ateliers Louis Moinet

The first chronograph in history was attributed to Louis Moinet in 1816, but the brand was re-launched by Jean-Marie Schaller in April 2004. It small series timepieces for men and women have enchanted collectors ever since then, particularly standing out with a selection at the 2013 GHPG.

 

A. Lange & Söhne

The 85th edition of the “Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este” competition celebrating the car as a design icon and objet d’art took place at the end of May in the fabulous surroundings of the Grand Hôtel Villa d’Este on the banks of Lake Como in Italy, with the theme of Gatsby the Magnificent, and sponsored by A. Lange & Söhne for the third time. CEO Wilhelm Schmid presented Albert Spiess, whose Maserati 450S won the competition, with a Lange 1 Time Zone “Como Edition” wristwatch.


Brice Lechevalier is editor-in-chief of GMT and Skippers, which he co-founded in 2000 and 2001 respectively. He has also been CEO of WorldTempus since it joined the GMT Publishing stable, of which he is director and joint shareholder. In 2012 he created the Geneva Watch Tour, and he has been an advisor to the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève since 2011. Also closely involved in sailing, he has published the magazine of the Société Nautique de Genève since 2003, and was one of the founders of the SUI Sailing Awards in 2009 and the Concours d’Elégance for motor boats at the Cannes Yachting Festival in 2015.
