Vulcain – Jaeger-LeCoultre : Eole and gallop

Vulcain Trophy : Eole blesses the Grand Prix Les Ambassadeurs

For the second year in a row, the Vulcain Trophy brought an exceptional range of sailors together on the Décision 35 circuit for the most high-tech, prestigious catamarans on Lake Geneva. The season was launched at the beginning of May at the Société Nautique de Genève (Geneva Yacht Club) with the Grand Prix Les Ambassadeurs, deservedly won by Alinghi (Ernesto Bertarelli), ahead of Realstone (Jérôme Clerc) and Artemis (Paul Cayard), all of whom received their prizes from the hands of Joachim Ziegler, CEO, Les Ambassadeurs. Sponsors’ guests had the opportunity of seeing the particularly spectacular regattas close up due to weather conditions perfect for these racing machines – plenty of wind, sunshine and a few passing squalls.  We wish them just as many emotions during the other seven stages that will punctuate the Vulcain Trophy between now and September.
