Pursuing its fruitful collaboration with the Manufacture de Haute Horlogerie Renaud et Papi, Chanel presents its new J12 Tourbillon Volant in a Skeleton version. The openworked movement is clearly visible in the upper part of the dial through a window with a pleasing cut-out forming a figure 8 with the signature Chanel-type tourbillon carriage. It bears a splendid comet, borrowed from the symbolic world of the famous Mademoiselle, which naturally spins on its axis in all its radiant glory. The face of the watch as a whole gives an extremely refined black-and-white performance based on subtly differentiated matt or shiny finishes and on the sparkle of the diamonds: 49 on the tourbillon, 36 on the surrounding ring, 21 on the hands and 74 on the inner bezel framing the dial. The black ceramic case and bracelet of the J12 set the perfect finishing touch to this remarkable kinetic show.
