A rugged look and a strong character are the hallmarks of the latest model from Concord, featuring a case build according to the brand’s emblematic principles of robustness. The C1 Big Date Radar asserts its style in an imposing black PVD-treated steel case featuring a bezel straddled by eight black protective rubber tabs. Anchored by side screws, they appear to form a rampart around the imposing 3.3 mm-thick sapphire crystal shielding the dial. This imposing horological “craft” displays its functions in an eminently legible manner. The minute hand passes under the 3D hour-markers raised up over the dial and coated with superluminova like beacons marking out the flight-path of time.  They are echoed by other luminous elements such as the date and the tip of the continuously running disc-style subsidiary seconds.
