Jouvenot wished to refer to the sun god of the Incas in naming this unconventional watch Inti. This model is part of the Solar Deity collection and is distinguished by the originality of its display. For the first time in watchmaking history, a watch displays the hours without classic hands – and also without numerals or discs. Frédéric Jouvenot has invented a jumping heliocentric display featured in this model with its instinctive read-off mode. Each hour is presented by a radioconcentric sunbeam. At noon, all the numbers are as golden as daylight, and as the hours go by, the rays gradually turn black. Midnight is represented by twelve dark rays that shine in the darkness. The minutes are shown by a central cartouche featuring an index that makes a complete rotation on the fixed minute disc. This revolutionary hour display is combined with a highly contemporary and airy design, particularly thanks to the hollowed lugs.
