Piaget the watchmaker, Piaget the jeweler, the many facets of Piaget. The new Emperador Coussin Tourbillon Diamond-Set Automatic Skeleton Exceptional Piece showcases all the talents and skills of the Maison – including the mastery of movements demonstrated by the artisans of La Côte-aux-Fées, as well as the jewelry and case-making expertise cultivated in Plan-les-Ouates. Ultra-thin, complications and gem-setting are the main themes of this virtuoso composition pushing the boundaries of possibility in more than one respect. The Caliber 1270D driving this Exceptional Piece is not only the first ever baguette-set skeleton movement, but is also set on every facet : on the bridge side, on the display side, as well as along the profile of the bridges – a truly unique feat. Add to that a flying tourbillon, a mere 5.71mm-thin movement and a cushion-shaped case also entirely paved with diamonds, and the result is quite simply dazzling !
