60-PIECE LIMITED EDITION

The UR-T8 marking the 20th anniversary of Urwerk is the brand’s first transformable watch. Two buttons on the bezel serve to release it from its cradle. It can then be lifted vertically, rotated 180° about its axis and flipped over before clicking it back in place. On one side, it features a wandering-hour indication – a signature Urwerk configuration in which the hours numerals sweep across a 60-minute scale. Its new design makes it the largest and most elaborate of its kind to date, comprising four individual satellite carousels driven by a ‘mega-carousel’. On the other side of the watch, the cleverly textured pattern of the titanium ‘shield’ transforms the accessory into a mysterious object that could be simply viewed as as man’s bracelet. An openworked zone nonetheless reveals a glimpse of the exclusive spinning vane (turbine) developed to regulate the automatic winding. Impressive from all standpoints including in terms of its sheer volume, this creation is issued in a titanium anniversary edition, with or without a black PVD coating.
