There is always an election going on somewhere in the world, and according to their colors, the winning candidates can choose their very own 50s Presidents’ Classic from this iconic collection from Vulcain, which this year welcomes two automatic versions in tune with the times. Since Baselworld coincides with the arrival of spring, these blue or sunburst brown dials with matching straps are entirely in tune with the seasonal mode. Elegant and original, functional and pleasantly readable, these two new 2016 models stand out from overly classic watches. Also unveiled at the show is a new release eagerly awaited by brand purists: the latest iteration of the legendary Cricket caliber which appears as the brand-new V-40 movement in a more modern interpretation.
