Boutique Fever : Zenith – Jaeger-LeCoultre – Hermès – Graff

Zenith in Geneva
The frenzy in the Rue du Rhône went up another notch with the opening of Zenith’s first Swiss boutique on December 20th 2011. This is the brand’s fifth in the world after Moscow, Dubai, Shanghai and Hong Kong.

 

Jaeger LeCoultre in Lucerne
Jaeger LeCoultre has placed its architectural Art Deco stamp on Lucerne’s Grendelstrasse by opening its second Swiss boutique (44th in the world) there in December.

 

Hermès in Geneva
On November 29th 2011, Hermès inaugurated its new Swiss headquarters, which is way more than a flagship store. Located in the Rue du Rhône, the stone building has seven stories of which three, covering 500 m2, are devoted to sales.

 

Graff in Gstaad
Graff picked the Grand Hôtel Park in Gstaad to open a third boutique in Switzerland in December 2011 (its 22nd in the world), housing exceptional jewellery and watches.


Brice Lechevalier is editor-in-chief of GMT and Skippers, which he co-founded in 2000 and 2001 respectively. He has also been CEO of WorldTempus since it joined the GMT Publishing stable, of which he is director and joint shareholder. In 2012 he created the Geneva Watch Tour, and he has been an advisor to the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève since 2011. Also closely involved in sailing, he has published the magazine of the Société Nautique de Genève since 2003, and was one of the founders of the SUI Sailing Awards in 2009 and the Concours d’Elégance for motor boats at the Cannes Yachting Festival in 2015.
