Bvlgari : Divina : a new collection, three models and an infinite variety of dials

For its new line of jewelry watches, Bvlgari has developed a process creating a unique random effect that enables the Divina to display an original dial in two different shades: one a lightly streaked brown and the other a glitter-ing white. Jean-Christophe Babin, CEO of the Bvlgari group, comments on this launch and its distinctive features : “Our female clients will first of all rediscover the Diva shape, notably with regard to the wristband attachment, because Bvlgari is committed to its jewelry design codes. But above all they will discover an endless range of acetate dial variations produced by our dial-making company in La Chaux-de-Fonds. Acetate is a living material that makes each dial unique. It is as if one were to cut the trunk of a tree: each slice is different because you never find the same texture in the same place. These rich depths of texture provide an appealing alternative to mother-of-pearl. In addition, this new line offers women an evening watch that one can classify as affordable jewelry watches.” With regard to the prize won by Bvlgari in the Jewellery Watch category of the GHPG 2014, he notes : “This award has sparked great motivation and instilled a sense of pride in our teams, including our boutique sales advisers.” Read the complete interview on WorldTempus.com.
