Partners for nearly a decade, watchmaker Jaeger-LeCoultre and car manufacturer are celebrating their respective 180 years and 100 years of existence by presenting three brand-new watches, including the Master Compressor Extreme W-Alarm Aston Martin. The alarm function is characterised by a highly readable innovative new display with two discs juxtaposing the hours and quarter hours appearing in a large open window at 9 o’clock. This alarm with its powerful chime is accompanied by a world-time display simultaneously showing the time in the 24 hour time zones around a black dial decorated with motifs like those found on the radiator grilles of Aston Martin cars. The sporty character is accentuated by a compression key which, by over-compressing one of the four case seals, increases the water resistance of the crown to water and dust, as well as by a shock-absorbing system ensuring the high precision of the movement under any circumstances. Providing a final, specific signature, the logo designed by Aston Martin for its centenary anniversary is engraved on the back of the watch.
